You might find that interestingI'm sorry for flooding you with journals, but I figured this was quite important to share. There's a new website, sort of a search engine that allows your artwork to be downloaded without your permission or knowledge. I checked it and even my art is on there. Here is some more info on the matter, in NinjaKato 's journalHere is the petition if you chose to sign and request the site to be put downhttps://www.change.org/p/fastimg-net-take-down-their-siteHere are my views on this site:If I wanted my art to be free downloadable wallpaper content, I would have allowed its download myself. No one has even asked me for permission whether those images are free to be used outside of my personal galleries. I find that an insult to my work I put into them as an artist.I believe this should be shared in order to reach more people.
Help with photoshop please?I have an odd problem. I'm working on a .tiff image, when I open it in photoshop, it appears with all colors. The image's mode is RGB. When I save it and try to open it in, for example, irfan view an anything else, it appears black and white. The problem is connected to every layer with "color" blending mode. The problem appears no matter what file type I choose to save it as. Tiff, jpg, gif, no matter. It will open in photoshop with all the colors but after saving it appears everywhere else as black and white.Does anyone know how to fix that? I need the color copy of that image.
Other art sitesJust to note, I'm on other art sites as well! You can follow me there if you like.Weasyl https://www.weasyl.com/~ladyfromeastTumblr http://imilewska.tumblr.com/Digart http://ladyfromeast.digart.pl/Furaffinity http://www.furaffinity.net/user/ladyfromeast/I used to be on Nabyn and Sheezzyart as well, but they appear to be dead.
Petitions and stuffI've found a few interesting petitions so I thoguht I would share. If you disagree about some certain images people tend to upload here, perhaps you should have a look at this.https://www.change.org/p/deviantart-keep-the-site-for-real-artFrom my point of view I can say that I agree. I don't see anything beautiful in this type of photos. I'm not denying the beauty of human body, which cannot be denied, but I do hate the way some people picture (and perhaps think of) women (and not only them) as mere subjects for certain masculine needs. I am a victim of such behaviour, I know how it feels and it enrages me to see it happen. The second petition is about repainting the elevations of a certain building in Lublin, Poland.http://www.petycjeonline.com/petycja_o_zmian_kolorystyki_centrum_onkologii_ziemi_lubelskiejI'm an architect, I'm a citizen of this city, and most of all I'm a person who values certain taste in art, architecture and supports mantaining the beautiful monuments of my coun
Winners feature!~~First of I wanted to congratulate everyone who's been awarded their honourable places in X-luki and NekoPunkWolf's contest, and secondly I'd really, really want to apologize everyone for taking so long to post this entry. I'm preparing for an important conference where I'm going to publish the results of my recent architectural research~~~~This is the moment I'll reveal the secret I've mentioned in one of my previous journals - I'll be showing my research about an old medieval tower in Wojciechów, Poland - its history and my speculations as to how it might have looked after just being build in late gothic, along with a (quite) complex analysis of its walls and mortar used to raise them. The conference will take place in Lviv, Ukraine on 8th June, and in Chełm, Poland on 9th and 10th June. The title of the conference is "The problems of protection and conservation of historical fortifications". ~~And, the features!1st place: Fruciakowa
UpdateWe managed to buy a new scanner, so I can now upload my art freely I've updated my personal website with english and polish information about my occupation:http://milewska.weebly.com/info.htmlEnglish version of my diploma was added, and both polish and english versions of my supplement were added as well. The grades were blurred out.
Delay + ConferenceMy scanner has finally reached the end of its days after over a decade of faithful work. It had a colorful life. Byes, old Artec.I need to buy a new one with my dad, so even though I've done some art recently I cannot post it yet, it will have to wait until I have bought a new scanner and scanned it properly.I may be a bit late with the artwork I owe (namely trades, gifts and contest prizes) due to a very hard period at university. I have lots and lots to do recently and I need to focus on that. I'll finish those artworks as soon as I can.I cannot say why I'm asking this yet, because I want to prepare a nice suprise for you However I'll ask this:Is any of you planning to take part in a conference in Lviv, Ukraine and its other part taking place in Chełm, Poland?I believe it's this one:http://lawcraft.com.ua/blog/conference-social-humanitarian-challenges-2015-sohu/?lang=enhttp://lawcraft.com.ua/blog/conference-social-humanitarian-challenges-2015-sohu/?langl

Taking Your Art to The Next Level in 2015!ArchiveTaking your art to the next level in 2015!:iconSuzanne-Helmigh: Suzanne-Helmigh:iconQrumzsjem: QrumzsjemDuel of the fatesTwitterFacebookGoogle+ForewordBy :icontechgnotic: techgnoticFamously said by many, “Ninety percent of success is showing up.” How true it is about a soul killing combination: looking at what our own first efforts in any endeavor, particularly art, result in, and then looking at the works of far more experienced artists. Emperors and kings often felt a familial connection with the Sun, and so feared its temporary withdrawal from the sky to be a warning of its unhappiness with royal actions. Desp
